Joe Magee is an award-winning UK artist and film maker. He is a regular contributor of images to international publications such as The Guardian, Time Magazine and Liberation – having upwards of 2000 images published. His work has shown widely at galleries and film festivals internationally – he has twice presented work at the International Symposium of Electronic Arts (Japan, Liverpool) as well as at the ICA, the V&A and The National Portrait Gallery. He has artworks in the permanent collections of University of the Arts London and University of Bath. Magee is a regular collaborator with celebrated British performer Bill Bailey producing films, images and large-scale video art. In 2009 Magee was awarded two D&AD Awards For Outstanding Achievement. Joe continues to work in a wide range of traditional and electronic media. He is currently writing a feature screenplay, supported by Creative England and BFI.
